🧰 Installation Tutorial — VAG-COM HEX-V2 STM32F429 Cable (VCDS FRM)

Open the download link.

In this file, download :
-
VCDS-FRM-25031-Installer.exe
→ located in the folder “VCDS Software for other languages”
→ French version of the VCDS software -
VIIPlusLoader-08.025.13-FULL-Installer.rar

⚙️ Step 1 — Installing VCDS

Start the installation of
VCDS-FRM-25031-Installer.exe -
Follow the standard installation steps.

At the end, do not launch the software (uncheck “Launch VCDS”).
⚙️ Step 2 — Installing VIIPlusLoader

Open the archive
VIIPlusLoader-08.025.13-FULL-Installer.rarwith WinRAR. -
Run
VIIPlusLoader-08.025.13-FULL-Installer.exe. -
Complete the installation as normal.

Here again, do not launch the program at the end.
🔌 Step 3 — Connecting the probe

Plug in your cable HEX-V2 STM32F429 to your computer's USB port.

Wait around 10 seconds so that Windows automatically configures the drivers.
🚀 Step 4 — Launching the software

On the desk, Do not use the VCDS FRM 25.03 shortcut!
❌ Never open VCDS directly.

Launch only the shortcut
VIIPlusLoader. -
In VIIPlusLoader, click on “Launch VCDS”.

Choose “FRM” (French version), then click on OK.
🔄 Step 5 — First use

During the first launch, a cable update can trigger automatically.
Wait a few seconds without unplugging the cable.

Once VCDS is open:

Go to Options.

Click on Test to check communication with the probe.

Click on To save to save the settings.

✅ Step 6 — Usage
Your cable VAG-COM HEX-V2 STM32F429 is now ready for use.
Always launch VCDS via VIIPlusLoader for the software to function correctly.
