🧰 Installation Tutorial – Renault CAN CLIP V192 (compatible with Windows 7 – 32-bit only)

This guide explains how to install and activate it. CAN CLIP V192 based on the provided archives:

• Can Clip V192_0_2_0.rar → Contains CAN CLIP software (Setup + installation files)

• Tutoriel d'installation et d'activation Can CLIP.zip → contains:

  • 01. Renault CLIP.reg

  • Dossier 02 (activation, keygen)

  • Dossier 03 (sensor patch and compatibility for older vehicles)

👉 Always extract these archives with WinRAR. to avoid structural errors or missing files.

⚙️ PREREQUISITES

Before you begin, make sure that:

• 💻 Your system is Windows 7 – 32-bit only (CAN CLIP V192 does not work on 64-bit systems).

• 📦 You have fully unzipped The two archives with WinRAR:

  • Can Clip V192_0_2_0.rar

  • Tutoriel d'installation et d'activation Can CLIP.zip

• 🔒 Your antivirus and Windows Defender are temporarily disabled.

• 🔑 You execute all the steps in Administrator.

🪛 INSTALLATION

1. Run the file 01. Renault CLIP.reg
   → Click on Yes to apply the registry key.
   (This prepares the software installation environment.)

2. Start the CLIP software installation

   • Open the main folder containing Setup.exe.

   • Follow the on-screen steps.

   • Accept the driver installation when Windows prompts you to do so.

3. Restart the PC if the program requires it.

🔑 ACTIVATION

⚠️ Do not launch never CLIP immediately after installation!

1. Open the following directory:
   C:\CLIP_X91\Lib\Application\

2. Run RSRWin.exe (right click → Execute as administrator).

3. In the program window:

   • Click on “Record me now”

   • Then select "NO" to the following question.

   • The software will then display your Serial number (Clip Serial Number).

4. Open the folder KEYGEN and launch:

   • Renault CLIP TOOL.exe ou Renault Can Clip Registration.exe

   • Enter the serial number displayed, then generate the activation key.

5. Enter the generated key in the RSRWin window, then confirm.
   
   

🧩 PROBE PATCH

1. By default, your probe will not be detected.

• Replace the following files in:
  C:\CLIP\Config\

  • probesConfiguration.xml

  • probesConfiguration_logs.xml

• Use the versions provided in the folder 03.

2. Compatibility with older vehicles (pre-2005)

To enable the detection of older models:

• Copy the file IsoDrv.dll folder 03
  to the directory:
  C:\Program Files\Common Files\SAGEM SA\

✅ FINAL VERIFICATION

1. Connect your probe RTL2002 at the computer.

2. Launch CAN CLIP from the office.

3. Check that the probe is detected.

4. Next, test the communication with a Renault or Dacia vehicle.

💡 TIPS & BEST PRACTICES

• This version V192 is The latest compatible one without a Renault token, ideal for diagnosing vehicles up to 2019.

• Never install two versions of CAN CLIP on the same PC.

• If you encounter a detection problem, restart the file. RSRWin.exe as administrator.

• Reactivate your antivirus software after installation.

• Save the folder C:\CLIP_X91 to avoid a complete reinstallation in the future.
