Renault CAN CLIP V192

This guide describes step by step the correct procedure to install and activate Renault CAN CLIP V192.
Strict adherence to each step is essential to avoid errors in installation, activation or recognition of the probe.

✅ MANDATORY PREREQUISITES

Before you begin, be sure to check the following points:

• Operating system Windows 7 – 32-bit only

• Administrator rights on the Windows session

• Antivirus temporarily disabled (during the entire installation)

• WinRAR required for all extractions

• ❌ Never launch CAN CLIP before the activation is fully complete

⚠️ Any attempt to install on another system (Windows 10/11, 64-bit, poorly configured VM) will result in malfunction.

📥 STEP 1 – Downloading and preparing the files

1. Downloading the software

Download the following archive:
Can Clip V192_0_2_0.rar

2. Software extraction

• Make a Right-click → Extract with WinRAR

• Extract the contents to a standard folder on your computer.
  (examples: Office or Documents)

3. Activation Download

Then download the archive:
CAN CLIP Activation and Patch (-V212).zip

4. Activation Extraction

• Extract with WinRAR only

• Do not modify the structure of the files

⚠️ Important points

• Don't launch no file as long as Not all archives have been fully extracted.

• Do not use never the Windows extractor

• Keep them two extracted files accessible for the rest

🔧 STEP 2 – Installing the CAN CLIP software

1. Open the extracted folder CAN CLIP V192

2. Before any installation, run:

   01. Renault CLIP.reg
   

   → Accept the addition to the registry

1. Next, launch the installation via the setup

2. Accept the installation of pilots when it is requested

3. Computer will restart.

⚠️ At the end of the installation:
❌ DO NOT LAUNCH CAN CLIP

🔐 STEP 3 – Software Activation

⚠️ This step is critical. Follow the order exactly.

1. Go to the folder:

   C:\CLIP_X91\Lib\Application\
   

2. Launch the file RSRWin.exe (original version)

3. Click on "Record me now"

4. For the following question, choose " NO "

5. Note the Serial number displayed

Key generation

6. Launch one of the following tools (KEYGEN folder):

   • Renault CLIP TOOL

   • or Renault Can Clip Registration

7. Generate the key from the serial number

8. Enter the key into RSRWin.exe

9. Terms of validity

✅ Activation successfully completed

🔌 STEP 4 – Probe recognition patch (RTL2002)

To ensure correct recognition of the probe RTL2002 :

1. Go to the folder:

   C:\CLIP\Config\
   

2. Replace the following files:

   • probesConfiguration.xml

   • probesConfiguration_logs.xml

3. By those provided in the file 03 from the activation archive

⚠️ Make sure CAN CLIP is completely closed during this operation.

🚗 Access for vehicles manufactured before 2005

To allow access to older vehicles:

1. Copy the file:

   IsoDrv.dll
   

   from the file 03

2. Paste it into:

   C:\Program Files\Common Files\SAGEM SA\
   
   
   

   

✅ INSTALLATION COMPLETE

You can now launch Renault CAN CLIP V192 normally.

In case of a problem:

Check the system (Windows 7 – 32-bit)

Check that the antivirus has not deleted any files

Check that CAN CLIP was not launched before activation.
