Diagbox 9.200 Installation Tutorial

Prerequisites

Before you begin the installation, make sure to temporarily disable your antivirus and Windows Defender to avoid any blocking.

Compatible with Windows 7 to 11.

If Java is not yet installed on your computer, you need to install it:

Create a folder named AWRoot on the **C:** drive.
Exclude this folder from your antivirus and Windows Defender scans to avoid interference.

Open Windows settings > Update and security > Windows security.
Click on Protection against viruses and threats.
Go down to Virus and threat protection settings And click Manage settings.
Scroll down and click Add or remove exclusions under Exclusions.
Click on Add exclusion > Dossier.
Accounts Manager C:\AWRoot and validate.

Open your antivirus software and look for the option to add an exception or exclusion.
add C:\AWRoot as a file excluded from analysis.

To get your diagnostic interface recognized correctly, follow these steps:

Connect the XS Evolution PSA probe to your computer.
Open the Gestionnaire de périphériques (accessible via right-clicking on the Start menu or via Windows search).
Locate the unrecognized device (often marked with a yellow exclamation mark).
Make a right click above and select Update the driver.
Choose Find a driver on my computer.
Select the following location: C:\AWRoot\extra\Drivers.
Validate and install the driver.

Diagbox does not launch or displays an error : Check that your antivirus or Windows Defender is not blocking execution.
The probe is not recognized : Make sure the drivers are installed correctly and the correct USB port is used.
License or activation error : Check that you have followed the instructions correctly and that the file AWRoot is correctly placed and excluded from virus scans.
