📌 Tutorial: Installing VIVID 2018 with VirtualBox
1️⃣ Download and Extract

Download the file
Vivid 2018.1.zip. - Open the compressed archive “Vivid 2018.1.zip" with WinRAR / 7Zip software or Windows Explorer.
- Select the “Extract files…” option.
- In the extraction window, choose a location/folder where you want to unzip the files.

Important notes:
- The "Stakis technik 2018.1" files should be kept together in a normal folder before launching the partition in VirtualBox.
2️⃣ Installing VirtualBox
- Install the VirtualBox partition which will allow you to launch the partition containing the VIVID 2018 software.
- If you get the error message “Cannot run this application on this device”, you need to download the latest version of VirtualBox instead of the provided one.
VirtualBox: https://download.virtualbox.org/virtualbox/7.1.0/VirtualBox-7.1.0-164728-Win.exe
- Follow the installation steps, press NEXT, ACCEPT and YES to all steps. EXCEPT the last one so as not to start VirtualBox directly.
- Uncheck “start ORACLE after installation”, we will launch the partition differently.
3️⃣ Open the score
- Locate the file "Stakis technik 2018.1.vbox".
- In the previously extracted folder you should find the file "Stakis technik 2018.1.vbox".
- This file is crucial for installing Vivid 2018 software in VirtualBox.
- Double click on it to start the installation in VirtualBox.
- For the first launch, either the partition launches itself, or you will have to click on Start at the top right.
- You are on the partition desktop, you can open VIVID via the Stakis Technik icon
