🔧 Flashing your LITE interface in version "C" for Diagbox

You have an interface with the number 963830B ou 921815B ?
Le "B" indicates that it is a LITE interface, requiring an update to be correctly detected in Diagbox.

 



🔍 Identify your interface:

  • 921815C ou 963830C ➜ ✅ FULL CHIP interface
    ➡️ You can skip directly to installing and launching Diagbox.

  • 963830B ou 921815B ➜ ⚠️ LITE interface
    ➡️ You must flash the interface for it to be recognized in Diagbox.

❓ What is a FULL CHIP interface?

An interface FULL CHIP contains all the electronic components necessary to communicate with the vast majority of calculators, from the late 90s to today.

🛠️ Flashing procedure to upgrade your LITE interface to version "C"

1. Download the necessary software:

Download PSA Interface Checker from this link:

2. Connecting the interface:

  • Connect your LITE probe (USB) to your PC.

  • Launch the software PSA Interface Checker.

 



3. Flashing steps:

STEP 1:

Click on ACTIVATE

STEP 2:

Click on SERIAL REFERENCE

STEP 3:

Click on SELECT FILE
➡️ Select the file:
firmware_NLC_pour flash serial B to C.COM

Then click DOWNLOADING

Waiting:

Let the process run until you see the message:
DOWNLOAD KO!!!
➡️ This indicates that the procedure is complete.

La Green led of the interface must return.

 



4. Finalization:

  • Unplug the USB interface.

  • Plug it back in.

  • revive PSA Interface Checker and repeat the following steps:

    • Click on ACTIVATE

    • Click on VERSION

    • Click on SERIAL REFERENCE

➡️ Check that the information has been updated.
