Function to be activated via VCDS - VAG-COM software
Description of the option:
Used to suppress the audible alarm and the light on the speedometer when driving without the seat belt.
[17 – Instruments] -> [Coding – 07]
The first two digits of the coding (??xxxx) allow you to modify the options of the Instrument module. To remove the seat belt alarm, subtract 2 to these numbers.
Example:
Software Coding (0 - 32767): 07232
In the example above the initial coding (with belt alarm) is: 07232
To remove the belt alarm, simply recode like this: 05232 (07 – 02 = 05)
