🧰 Installation Tutorial – KSUITE 2.80 for KESS V2
Welcome to this installation guide for KSUITE 2.80the official software used with the interface KESS V2 for reading and writing engine control units (ECUs) via OBD or bench.

Follow the steps below carefully for a correct and error-free installation.

📦 Step 1 – Download and Extraction

Download the archive:
KSUITE 2.80.rar -
Right click → Extract here ou Extract to… with WinRAR

Place the extracted folder directly in the root directory of the disk. C:
👉 Example:C:\KSUITE 2.80\
⚠️ Avoid excessively long paths or folders with special characters.
🔌 Step 2 – Installing the USB Drivers

Open the folder:
C:\KSUITE 2.80\DRIVER\ -
install in order :
1️⃣vcredist_x86.exe
2️⃣Driver_USBDEVICEDRV.EXE -
Once both installations are complete, You must restart the PC
These drivers are essential for Windows to correctly recognize the KESS V2 interface.
🔗 Step 3 – Connecting the KESS V2 interface

After restarting, connect your KESS V2 interface in USB
-
Please wait a few seconds while Windows finishes installing the devices.
-
No error message should appear.
🚀 Step 4 – KSUITE Launch

Open the folder:
C:\KSUITE 2.80\ -
Launch
ksuite.exe
(right click → Execute as administrator) -
The software should open and automatically detect the KESS V2 interface.
You can now:

Read ECU maps
-
Back up the original files
-
Write modified maps
-
Working via OBD or bench, according to the supported protocol
⚠️ Important advice

Temporarily disable your antivirus software if it is blocking it from running.

Never connect the interface to a vehicle without a stable voltage (>13 V recommended)
-
Always save the file original before any writing
-
Do not install multiple versions of KSUITE on the same PC without first cleaning it up.
