Question 1: My probe is not recognized. 

If you have difficulty using your Diagbox probe and the VCI is not recognized by the virtual machine and the DIAGBOX software. To resolve this issue, it is crucial to connect the probe to the Virtual Machine and not to the PC.

• Please follow these steps to resolve the issue:
• Launch your virtual machine.
• Once the VM is running, connect your probe.
• A message should appear asking you to choose where to connect the probe. Select to connect your probe to the virtual machine and not to the host computer (PC).
• Additionally, you have the option to force your probe to connect to the VM in the virtual machine settings. This option may be necessary if your VM does not automatically recognize the probe.

 

Question 2: I am asked to activate the software.

problem:

Diagbox software activation is not transferred when moving Diagbox partition.

Cause:

Incorrect selection of option when first launching Diagbox partition.

solution:

When first launching the Diagbox partition, make sure you click the "I MOVED IT" button and not "I COPIED IT".

Resolution if the error has already been made:

• Delete existing Diagbox partition.
• Create a new Diagbox partition.
• When launching the new partition for the first time, make sure to select the "I MOVED IT" option.
